We recently returned from Copacabana and were very disapointed. I felt the service to be poor and the hospitality not to be what I've come to expect in Mexico. The food was good and the facilities very beautiful and well maintained, but it didn't make up for the rest. The beach is beutiful but the resort is narrow, so you walk away from the beach every time to get to your room. In October I was at The El Dorado Resort and have a much better report on that. But, as always, Mexico is beautiful and wonderful so we still had a good time. A bad resort does no make a bad trip to Mexico.
