We attended my sisters wedding in mid December---it was wonderful---perfect evening weather and sunny, warm enough for the beach during the day. We were able to go without children---different after 9 yrs of marraige--went to Senor Frogs and Hard Rock. I am pretty much a home body and would have also enjoyed the routine around the RC---beach/pool games---drink when you want---eat whenever---and lobby music for dancing at night...did not partake in the shows. HOt tub was nice. Bingo by the pool. Our room was in the newer building on the lagoon side---beautiful sunsets. The blue of that water is like no other place I have ever been world over. ANd the happy relaxed atmosphere---which of course could be a huge part of the hotel strip atmosphere anyway. The wedding was arranged by the hotel and was great---no details to be of concern---they made the bouquet, centerpiece, decorated, photos, videos, Champaign to drink for all,dinner afterward, and of course the ceremony---kind of neat to be a bit different than the traditional US wedding--would recommend it to anyone who would like to truly relax and enjoy the week---and swim on the day of their ceremony amidst those decorating the little veranda area knowing it is all for you.
