Musings, comments in no particular order:

It was great seeing everyone at the chatter's meeting. Can I stay on the board now. I was afraid if I didn't show up at one that Tim was going to ban me.

How come he and I were the only ones with CARM t-shirts? - oh for shame!

It was great to see Jorge and Shannon again.

It was also great to see Robin and Chris for the first time.

Thanks for taking me to room when I was drunk ladies. Uh, you didn't take advantage of me did you?

Just did my taxes and it looks like the refund will pay for my trip. Thanks to Dad anyway. Still used him as a dependent which makes me head of household - even though he died less than half way through the year. But the instructions said I could do it. The next message you all get from me may be from a federal pen.

I HATE tall bridges. As many times as I have went over the ones going to Toronto, I still work my self up into a sweat before I get to them. maybe I need a shrink.

I WANT TO GO BACK TO BBG - NOW!!!

It felt like I had come home when I got there. Also like I had only been gone a week, not a year.

Love the new lobby, and what they did with the courtyard bar. The place is really going uptown.

Food was real good this year. Saturday's soup was great. They still need to get a soup cookbook.

As many times as I have seen the shows, I still like to go back to them - it is the theater major in me.

Does Chino have a problem going through the metal detector at an airport? He has more metal in his body than Carter has little liver pills (a reference for us old codgers out there).

The BBG was at 100% occupancy for a couple of nights this year - Cancun was at around 80% I was told.

BBG rates number two in Cancun with most repeaters.

They got themselves 25 rooms overbooked one night and had to put the overage up at Plaza Las Glorias next door so they could use the facilities at the hotel. I have heard of a Mexican minute - this must be Mexican accounting.

BlueBay is buying the Plaza Las Glorias next door. I think the deal closed while I was there. They will have to buy out the timeshares there because it is a family place. They are talking about making suites there for the repeaters. We shall see. I just hope as it gets bigger, they don't lose the intimacy they have now. Supposed to be special deals in the works for repeaters.

It was great seeing all my old friends there: Alfredo, Enrique, Chino, Moriah (she went back home to Colorado the day I left), Gabrial, Policarpo, Nicholas.

Still had Francisca my maid of four years. She still puts her little touches to the room as always. I can tell when she is off - the room is clean, but missing her little touches.

Laura is still there as the massage therapist. Gave me a facial one day. Have one guys - it is heaven. The ultimate in being pampered.

Skyservice is still the best charter airline out there - even if they were late going down on Saturday. Lunch on the return flight was fantastic.

Had one of the doors with the keycard lock. Silly thing had to be reprogrammed twice. Give me a real key.

Back to the shows, Betty is still with them and Melina is back after two years. She remembered me. My heart goes pitter pat.

Have come to the conclusion - down there is reality, back here is the fantasy - more like a nightmare.

Have to write a letter to the hotel.

Also have to move my trip reports to the correct page. Think next year I might try to do one from the standpoint of the hotel. Sound too wierd?
