Our experience OUTSIDE our room was nice. Cancun is beautiful and we felt safe. We did keep an eye on our cash and valuables when we left our room. The room at the OASIS was smelly of mildew. Ourpillows smelled absolutely atrocious. We asked for replacement pillows and got nothing. They have wash cloths but you have to INSIST on getting them. The food was just OK. The drinks (in the all-inclusive plan) are pitiful and you have to insist on a decent amount of liquor to be put in your drink. They give you a splash which equates to maybe a couple of tablespoons. The best thing is to ask for a shot or just drink beer. The beach is outstanding!! The waiters react very well if you put cash on your table before you order your meal. We tipped inspite of being on the all-inclusive plan. We will not go to the OASIS again and Apple Vacations really should drop them like a hot, sweaty potato. Oh yeah....our air conditioner was so poor that we had to sleep practically naked and on top of the sheets just to stay cool!!!
