Just got back from a week at Aventura Palace. Can not say a bad thing about the place. The service was top notch. My wife and I have been to various all-inclusives in the Carribean and the palace resorts is by far the best. The waiters and waitresses were on the ball all of the time. The atmosphere was laid back - leave your worries at home type of place. I do recommend going to Puerto Aventura right down the road. It is a great place to see the dolphins or you can actually pay to swim with them. they have some cute restaurants and shops in this little resort/marina community. We rented a jeep and the palace resorts picked up the tab and gave us $100 palace dollars for going to one of their presentations on vacation packages at the moon palace. It is not for everyone but what is an hour and 1/2 for a free car rental for three days and some money to use at the gift shop. Some reosrt places will even give you $200 cash for going to their presentations. Just do not get sucked in - they are very good salesman. I fell in love with Xpu-Ha beach - I have never seen a beach as beautiful as this one. If you go to aventura palace - you must visit the Xpu_ha Palace. It would like to stay there some day , but my wife is more into the elegant places like avanetura. Visit as many places as you can. We misses out on the BullFight in Cancun and Chichen Itza. On our next trip we will visit them. Breakfast was by far the best meal of the day. After a few days the all of the food was starting to taste the same. That happens no matter where you go though. I would give it a 8 outof 10 for the food. Front desk service 8 out of 10. The wait staff 10 out of 10. The hotel serives - 10 out of 10. Ask for Homairo - he will take care of you. He was a great guy to our group. Bell boys 9 -out of 10.
The pool area was always clean and the lagoon was great becasue you really did not have to worry that much about sand all of the time. It had its pluses and minuses.
Overall I would definitely come back to this resort. I am the type of person that likes to try different things and My wife would like to come back to the resort. Over all I would rate this resort a 9 out of 10.
