Club Oasis Akumal has 3 Restaurants and two bars for the All Inclusive American Plan. As other folks have noted, the food is nothing to write home about, but it is plentiful and you won't go hungry! Buffett Breakfast had different pastries, cereal, fresh fruits, wonderful juices and an omelet bar every morning. Lunch was hot dogs/Hamburgers by the beach, or a sitdown/ OR buffett lunch. Buffett was so so at best. Dinner is from 6:30 on and changes every night. Salads, fruit and major entres including fresh fish, Mexican night, and Beef Wellington to name a few! Beer and Wine is served complimentary. FYI - Don't be silly like we were. Buy, or Bring a big liter bottle of water and fill the dumb thing IN THE RESTARUANT. Water there is safe and free, and we used it to brush our teeth back in the room. (We stupidly paid $15 for 3 liters - THEN figured out the game!)
Ahhh... the bar - Be forwarned - it was bad..... The liquor was as bottom rung as you can get, the Corona was bottom of that line and the wine (ohmygod) was out of a box. I can't bear to describe the margaritas! However, we were with our children, not there to party hardy, so we made due! One of our new friend's stopped at the liquor store about 5km past Playa Del Carman and brought her own top shelp stuff and mixed her own!
However, a free beer on the beach is still not a bad thing!
