The odour is sometimes ok, sometimes terrible, it eminates from a plant next to the main building, can travel around the pool area, bars, kids club and tennis courts etc. it is a sludge treatment plant being treated with dangerous chemicals that are left on the footpaths next to the tennis. many people complain about the smell but once they're told its water purification they seem to be ok with it, a few of us investigated over new years 2003 and were horrified. I have pictures etc. I think there are real risks there so my advice is go elsewhere, we changed at extra expense to the hilton which was great, no kids club though....well not one that has any staff.....try Ruth's steak house, wow! that was a great meal, expensive but well worth it.......
moon palace = risk, some people love it, I like to think of myself as a very seasoned traveller, it is crap in my opinion and not a 5* - beware!!!!!
