Combine Mayan history at Tulum Mexico, the only archeological zone in the area overlooking the ocean and is believed to have been the largest port for the Mayans. Then the natural beauty of Xel-ha Mexico, a natural aquarium which is ideal for snorkeling.

You and your group go directly from your hotel to the Mayan ruins of Tulum and then to Xel-ha Mexico or just to Xel-ha if you prefer (select which tour you prefer below). The private tours are for your group only and therefore you plan the day. Suggestions are available. Private tours will save your family about 2.5 hrs compared to the public tour. This time can be used to explore more or sleep in a bit.

Tulum & Xel-ha or Xel-ha Private Express includes:

Air-conditioned private transportation exclusively for your group
English speaking driver
All toll road and parking fees, entrance fees & taxes for Xel-ha Mexico (and Tulum if you select that tour)
Note: there is a small federal fee for video cams at Tulum
Both tours include the all inclusive package at Xel-ha: all food from 5 restaurants and ice cream shop, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), towels, lockers & snorkeling equipment. A deposit is required at Xel-Ha (ID, room key or $20 usd. I always give them $20 usd as I would rather lose that than my ID).

Itinerary:
Hotel pick up: Your preference, I suggest 7-8 am
I suggest going FIRST to Xel-Ha ONLY for the buffet breakfast and to get your lockers and snorkel gear. Eat your breakfast, jump back into the vehicle and head to Tulum. IF you already ate breakfast, go to Tulum first. JUST tell the driver what your plans are, if not he heads for Tulum first.
Once in Tulum you can hire a guide for around $30 usd for a 90 minute tour or just wander around on your own. If you spend 2 hrs there it is plenty of time.
Then to Xel-Ha where you can swim/snorkel, float down the lazy river, walk through the jungle, eat, drink or relax in a hammock.
Once inside Xel-Ha all your food & beverages are free. As much as you want! Tips are NOT included.
Summer hours the park closes at 6 pm (5 pm in winter) and the drive back takes about 95 minutes.

Note: The price per adult drops when there are more adults in your group. That's because we have a fixed cost to pay all the tolls, driver, etc. Use the red numbers to figure the price per ADULT. Kid prices remain the same, regardless of number of adults. Kids are shown in blue. Kids under 40 inches in height are free. Xcaret and Xel-ha have changed the way they determine who is a child and who is an adult. They now determine status by height (40" - 55" tall is a child, under 40" tall is free). Anyone over 55" is considered an adult. 10 people max per vehicle.

We have the most lenient Cancellation Policy of anyone selling tours from Cancun and the Riviera Maya. Just call by noon the day before your tour to reschedule or cancel, and your deposit is fully refundable. The number to call will be on your E-Voucher (Ticket) which we will e-mail to you.
